Successful lambing and kidding is critical to the profitability of sheep and goat operations.  Lambing and kidding is one of the most stressful time periods during the small-ruminant production.  To help producers, the Delaware Extension Small Ruminant team presents a Lambing and Kidding workshop by Dr. Kevin Pelzer, a professor at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Pelzer will cover:

Stages of lambing/kidding
How to handle lambing or kidding problems - when and how to intervene
How to deliver healthy lambs and kids
Health issues during gestation and after lambing or kidding

This program is brought to you by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources - a land-grand institution.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider.  If you have special needs that need to be accommodated, please contact the event planner.
