In the summer, is your garden overflowing with shiny, red tomatoes? Do you love to shop at orchards filled with sweet, juicy peaches and farmers markets piled high with fresh produce?

Canning is an important, safe method of food preservation to save summer’s bounty, if practiced properly.  This introductory, 2-hour training, brought to you on-line via ZOOM by the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, will review the basic steps of home food preservation by canning.

This program is brought to you by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources - a  land-grant institution.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider.  If you have special needs that need to be accommodated, please contact us.
