Are you looking for a free virtual healthy and engaging summer camp opportunity for your youth?

4-H Healthy Habits is offering Up for the Challenge virtually 

Thursdays 11:00am-12:00pm

 July 1st-August 19th via ZOOM this Summer 2021!

Up for the Challenge is a 5 part series that focuses on healthy nutrition, physical activity, and body image suitable for ages 11-14

paired with 3 lessons of GEM-Get Experience in Mindfulness an awareness and acceptance stress management program!

We are actively enrolling participants for this program from Lake Forest School District Summer Meal Distribution Sites.

What: Up for the Challenge Curriculum + GEM, with 8 lessons taught online weekly from our educators! Youth who register to participate will receive a packet of resources as well as items necessary to engage with these lessons virtually. During this time they will learn basic healthy living skills in health, nutrition, wellness, and mindfulness!

How: Youth ages 11-14 can register here to become eligible for a free resource packet to be picked up at your summer meal distribution site! Pick up: 

Thursday June 24th between 3:00pm-5:00pm at W.T. Chipman Middle School 

 Youth must commit to participating in 6 virtual sessions to register. Sessions will be delivered via ZOOM Thursdays July 1st-August 19th 11:00am-12:00pm. Zoom link and reminders will be emailed directly to you on the email address you provide upon registration.

Who: UFTC is a wellness curriculum for health, wellness, mindfulness, physical education. Youth ages 11-14 may participate!

When: Pick up materials on June 24th. Each Thursday 11:00am-12:00pm July 1st-August 19th [July 1st, July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, July 29th, August 5th, August 12th, & 19th] 8 virtual lessons will be conducted via Zoom!

Where: Offered virtually at your home. You only need internet connection and the resource packet
