Based on the idea that everyone has a right to control their own money and make their own financial decisions, this training will assist those in the helping/ caregiving role to increase your confidence and provide tools you can use to address basic financial management topics with your adult clientele with a disability.
The training will review the financial management content of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) Your Money Your Goals - Focus on People with Disabilities; A Companion Toolkit to Empower the Disability Community. Interactive activities, case stories and tools from the Toolkit will be used during the training.
The training is free but registration is required for this Zoom based training. Resources and zoom link will be provided via email prior to the training dates.
Thursday, October 27th 1-4pm and November 4th noon - 1pm for drop in Question and Answer Session.
Friday, October 28th 9am to 12pm and November 4th noon - 1pm for drop in Question and Answer Session.
